DCSL was established in 1994 by a group of IT professionals with many years of experience in the computer industry. We are an organisation with a thorough understanding of the technologies and issues involved in setting up and maintaining computer systems, from a simple network to large multi-user network or Internet systems.

Originally, DCSL was focused on supplying bespoke software services. It became apparent early on, however, that a new software system was often just part of a larger Information Technology rollout. Customers found it difficult dealing with and coordinating several suppliers simultaneously, so DCSL expanded its operation to encompass every aspect of a computer system installation, from initial consultation through to full after-sales support.

As a result DCSL quickly spawned three separately managed businesses under the DCSL umbrella group: DCSL Ltd, DCSL Software Ltd and Exclaimer Ltd.
